Our association was established in the late 1980’s by a group of very dedicated code officials from the Down River area.
The organization was incorporated as a non-profit corporation under the IRS guidelines. Since its inception, DRACO has also become a Chapter of ICC (International Code Council) which has been very beneficial in providing code officials and design professionals with the education and training needed to provide the most comprehensive enforcement of adopted codes and state laws. All of the courses presented have been granted approval by the State of Michigan Bureau of Construction Codes in accordance with P.A. 54 of 1986. As DRACO continues to grow and strive to provide the continuing education requirements, we welcome new members to join us and share their knowledge and experiences with fellow professionals. |
